If you purchased these apps in the Mac App Store, or if they were preinstalled on your computer along with OS X Lion, an update notification is displayed on the App Store icon in the Dock.
If you installed them from the iLife ʼ11 DVD, or if they were preinstalled on your computer along with OS X 10.6.8 or earlier, the apps periodically check for updates when you open them and notify you if an update is available.
You can also check for updates manually.]]></description>
