This document discusses how recurrent events in iCal are handled by Palm OS based devices when synced using iSync.

Mac OS X 10.5: Contact syncing issues with Nokia 9300i phone and Address Book

Release date: Thu, 28 Aug 2008 15:52:00 GMT

Some issues may occur when syncing contacts with a Nokia 9300i phone in Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard:

New contacts that were initially created on a Nokia 9300i phone and contain only an email address, first, and last name fields, may not transfer to Address Book when syncing.
In some situations, creating a contact that has first name, last name, work email address, and work phone number fields in Address Book, and creating the same contact on the phone (with the same fields), may cause the work email address and phone number fields to be removed from the Address Book entry during syncing.
When using the "slow sync" feature with a Nokia 9300i phone, vCards with multiple phone numbers may appear to remove the work telephone field from the contact on the computer.
